Welcome to Wilder Collage!

Wilder Collage began in 2020 as a place to share the work of contemporary artists around the world. It’s been evolving, and in 2022 launched with 30 founding members as an official membership community powered by Patreon.

Wilder Collage has grown to over 50 members worldwide.

We’d gather each month to learn from one another, grow in our art practice and share in the medium we all love, collage.

March 2025 will be the end of Wilder Collage as we know it as I will be ending the membership. It’s not goodbye though and I look forward to reimagining what Wilder Collage can be. Stay tuned!

Meet founder Elyse’ Jokinen!

Hi, I’m Elyse’. A passionate visual artist working primarily in analog collage and photography. I began making collage art at a young age and was blown away when I plugged into the online collage community. I never knew there were so many artists out there doing what I was doing. Not long after, Wilder was born as a way to stay connected. It’s continuously evolving but the mission is the same… community, connection and conversation around collage and those who make it.

I love reading, black and white photography and getting lost in paper scraps. Classic rock fills my studio, kayaking on the lake is my happy place and I truly believe you can never have too many notebooks.
When I’m not facilitating at Wilder, you can find me wandering my local bookstore, shooting photography (mostly of my family) or bobbing around in the lake.

My work and creative voice have been featured on many platforms including Collé, Contemporary Collage Magazine, PxP Contemporary, The Art Queens, Create! Podcast, Visionary Art Collective, Wilder Roam, Women United Art Magazine and more!
