What is Wilder Collage?

Wilder Collage is an online platform on a mission to share the magic of collage art and those that create it.
We’re also an online community (pretty busy over on Instagram), a patreon-powered membership (to gather and connect beyond social media), and a voice amplifier through artist interviews. Oh, and a publication is on the way!

What does it mean to be a member?

There are awesome perks about becoming a member. First, there are monthly calls/workshops over Zoom each month. Catch it live or watch the replay. The goal is to build skills, be inspired and connect with fellow artists. There is already a library of call replays waiting for you when you join! Next, you’ll have a customized space in the artist directory, a forever discount at the shop and more. With the membership being $15/month, you can get access to amazing live workshops and calls for less than $8 each!

Do I have to be a patreon member to enjoy the community?

As fun as it is to be a Wilder Collage member, you are more than welcome to be a part of the community, member or not. Use the hashtag #wildercollage for a chance for your art to be seen and featured. Submit to open calls for blog posts or the forthcoming publication. Watch and participate in Instagram Lives! There are a lot of ways to participate with Wilder and I’m so glad you’re here!

What is the cancelation policy?

You are never locked into your membership and can cancel at any time. I know there are ebbs and flows in life and welcome you to come and go as you need. Once you’re a member you’ll always have a place in the directory and member or not, we’ll be rooting you on in your journey.

Do I have to participate in the live calls?

Wilder strives to make a comfortable and supportive space. You are welcome to participate in whatever way feels good! You can join in and ask questions over the video, you can join and type in the chat, you can join with your camera and mic off and just watch or you can watch the replays. So many ways to participate and you get to make those rules!

Is there any skill requirement or amount of time in practice?

Whether you’ve been collaging for decades, or just started, you’re welcome here. Our hosts and members have been so generous and one of our big goals is to build skills and we don't hold back! Sharing with one another could be just the spark you need. So no, just a curiosity and love for collage, that’s the only requirement.

Where did the name Wilder come from?

The word Wilder popped into my head when I was driving down the freeway years ago. I got home and doodled it through my sketchbook day after day. Wilder. I decided that that was the way I wanted to create. I wanted to create from a deeper, wilder place within myself. I committed to intuitive experimentation, carefree creation, and pushing myself just a little bit more out of my comfort zone.

What if I can’t make the call live?

No problem at all. Each call is recorded and then posted in the Patreon within 24 hours. You can rewatch the ones you love or replay the ones you miss. Perfect for a night spent in your art space with your scissors!

How do I watch the calls that have already been recorded?

After you log into Patreon you’ll see a folder called “Call Replay” — all of the recorded calls are located there.

Can I get a refund?

Due to the digital nature of the material, you are not able to get a refund once you join. You can, however, cancel at any time. If you have any questions feel free to email elyse@wildercollage.com and I’m happy to help!
