Brittany M. Reid is a Rochester-based visual artist, creative strategist, and educator. Reid's work explores the wide spectrum of human emotion and experience primarily through hand-cut collage.
With a background in psychology and visual arts, Reid is committed to empowering BIPOC and LGBTQ+ artists, providing a supportive space for them to explore their creativity. They bridge the gap between art and technology, helping artists build digital fluency and develop sustainable business and creative practices.
Reid co-founded the #BlackCollagesMatter movement on Instagram, which encourages artists to center Black subjects in their work and has led to the publication of a book with proceeds donated to the Black Trans Femmes in the Arts Collective.
Reid's work has been featured in national and international publications and exhibitions, inviting viewers to contemplate the beauty and complexity of the world and inspiring artists to make their mark on it through their own unique vision.
